I do love to sew!!

I really do feel I got my money's worth from the March patterns I got as a pattern member with the sewing rabbit.  Now before I start on my April patterns, which are let me tell you fabulous!  I'll show you the Madeline Dress I made from the March patterns.  It was the first pattern Jess Abbott the amazing lady behind the sewing rabbit team designed.  I must say I am stunned by all those incredible pattern designers I have found on my sewing journey.  Who knows maybe I'll get there myself one day, although I can't see it at the moment, but maybe if I keep gaining experience.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but at the moment I'm just enjoying the ride and sewing my heart out.

And I can't tell you how much my heart swelled up getting such lovely comments on my knight hoodie blog post from so very talented seamstresses and fellow bloggers!  Thank you! It really made my day and boosted my confidence!

Ok so do you want to see some photos of my darling princess modeling her Madeline Dress?  She totally loved it, and it looks like she is getting more used to the modeling part cause she knew exactly what she was supposed to do!

Anita is two and a half years old and I made her a size 3 dress.  I think the fit is great on her with a little bit of a room to grow into.  When I cut the fabric for the skirt part I forgot I wanted to do the longer version so I added about 11 cm to the bottom of the skirt with some lace in-between the two layers.

I love the vintage look of this dress!  Again I messed up when cutting the fabric so my bottom extension came out to narrow so I decided to add a piece at the center back in the same fabric as the bodice.

All models need a little break when on a photo shot.

Big brother is always ready to land a helping hand.

So tomorrow I'll start printing out my new patterns, so check back soon.  Also if you are on Bloglovin I would really love if you would like to follow my little blog there.

I made cupcakes!

Not the edible kind though but the cupcake top a design from sewing mama raeanna. It's a sweet simple unisex knit t-shirt with a kangaroo pocket and some ruffles for the girls if you want.  I made one with ruffles in size 3 for Anita and a size 5 for Viktor without the ruffles of course. They both love their new t-shirts especially the pocket.

We are definitely loving this lovely spring wether we are having!

Do you want ice cream??
